A cheerleading squad is a group of enthusiastic people who exhibit excitement, teamwork, agility, physical fitness, and, of course, discipline.<\/p>\n

To foster a friendly atmosphere, the cheerleading squad members should be dedicated to their training and keep a positive outlook.<\/p>\n

Most cheerleading clubs conjure up images of teenagers and college students, wouldn’t they?
\nThe cheerleaders here are much past their teenage years.<\/p>\n

However, it doesn’t stop them from engaging in their favorite activities.They are a global viral cheerleading squad that is winning over millions of people’s hearts.<\/p>\n

Meet the Sun City Poms from Arizona.The characteristics displayed by this team may even go beyond those listed above.<\/p>\n

They have a really distinctive quality.<\/p>\n

They only accept applications from members who are at least 55 years old. There are no young people around, that’s true. <\/p>\n

Just unadulterated brilliance that has been refined and tempered by experience. The Sun City Poms are a true organization with many devoted members. <\/p>\n

They practice, march, put on shows, even conduct job interviews. The members of this group may be older than 55, yet you’d be shocked at how fantastic they are.<\/p>\n

This wonderful organization offers its senior members enjoyable activities that not only keep them entertained but also maintain their health.<\/p>\n

Additionally, it enables them to interact with others.They have existed for many years.<\/p>\n

In 1979, the Sun City Poms were founded. If you wish to join the team and are older than 55, you must reside in the Sun City retirement community.<\/p>\n

This is ideal for active seniors who still have a strong desire to perform, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and enjoy dancing.<\/p>\n

Age is no barrier for these amazing women.
\nThe Sun City Poms gained popularity over time.<\/p>\n

More people fell in love with their talent and their attitude when they had the opportunity to see them perform in front of more people.<\/p>\n

They are overjoyed that they have been invited to many gatherings and performances.They are a friendly group.<\/p>\n

Want to start cheering but have never done so before? Not to worry.<\/p>\n

As long as you match the conditions, you are welcome to join their team even if you have no prior cheerleading experience.<\/p>\n

The president of the Sun City Poms, Peggy Parsons, claimed that her love of dancing motivated her to join the squad.<\/p>\n

Mary Zirbel, one of the group’s 81-year-old members, has been cheerleading since she was in elementary school.<\/p>\n

She has a 23-year membership.And what about that? She continues to be quite active.<\/p>\n

Zirbel initially encountered the Sun City Poms at a parade, and immediately knew she wanted to be a part of them.<\/p>\n

She relocated to Sun City after working as a nurse in Green Bay for more than 40 years, and you guessed it\u2014she joined the lovely Sun City Poms.<\/p>\n

Members range in age from 58 to 90.All cheerleaders, regardless of age, are extremely passionate about what they do.<\/p>\n

Anyone who watches them always supports them. The cheer gets louder as one gets older.<\/p>\n

\u2018Ginger, our 90-year-old, always gets the loudest,\u2019 Parsons said.They are family rather than just a team.<\/p>\n

They cherish every moment of their lives, laugh, train hard, and put their all into every performance.<\/p>\n

Each cheerleader in this team appreciates the other tremendously, and it is a blessing to them all.<\/p>\n

Even her motto was shared by Zirbel:Before we pass away, we hope to inspire.<\/p>\n

She wants to convey to others the idea that life is short, therefore pursue your passions wholeheartedly.<\/p>\n
