Anyone who grew up in the 1990s understands exactly what happens after hearing the phrase \u2018Weeheeheehee dee heeheeheehee weeoh aweem away.\u2019<\/p>\n

You see, Solomon Linda wrote and recorded the song \u2018The Lion Sleeps Tonight\u2019 as \u2018Mbube\u2019 (\u2018Lion\u2019 in Zulu) in South Africa in 1939.<\/p>\n

It later \u2018became a number-one hit in the United States\u2019 after being translated into English by The Tokens.<\/p>\n

Since 1994, when it appeared on the Lion King movie’s soundtrack, it has become incredibly well-known among kids.<\/p>\n

A boys choir in Lithuania performed this song a few years ago, and their audience was enthralled by how incredible their performance was.<\/p>\n

Remigijus Adomaitis, an enthusiastic Lithuanian choir director who established a boys’ chorus studio in <\/p>\n

the early 1990s, led the group of more than 30 boys, ranging in age from young schoolboys to older teenagers.<\/p>\n

2017 saw the Dagillis boys and youth choir perform the well-known song in a very unique style under his direction.<\/p>\n

You see, each boy tried his best to mimic the sound of the natural background singing before the actual singing began.<\/p>\n

Some of the boys made sounds similar to those made by wind-blown trees and flowers or by moving animals.<\/p>\n

Others played the role of jungle creatures like monkeys, exotic birds, or virtually any wild animal.<\/p>\n

Adomaitis reminded them with his hands the appropriate volume for each type of sound to be made at the appropriate time, etc.<\/p>\n

Only moments later, the boys started singing.
\nThey began singing while swaying their hands left and right, \u2018Weem away aweem away.\u2019<\/p>\n

They appeared to be so talented that the entire song flowed without any problems.<\/p>\n

At the same time, it was clear by looking at them closely with the camera’s zoom that they were enjoying what they were doing at the time.<\/p>\n

Although they were obviously following the director\u2019s guidelines, and they were focusing on their tasks (miming an animal sound\/singing), they looked very happy when they were doing it.<\/p>\n

The audience cheered and applauded the skilled boys after the song was finished.<\/p>\n

The performance’s video was posted to YouTube, where it has received nearly 6 million views since then.<\/p>\n

Since more than 130k people have liked the video, it is clear that the majority of users who watch it like it a lot.<\/p>\n
