Due to his internet fame and frequent television appearances, where he openly revealed his ailment, Karason’s popularity soared in the early 2000s. <\/p>\n
Join us as we investigate the causes of Karason’s blue skin and consider how his experience can serve as a warning.<\/p>\n

Paul Karason was motivated to discover a cure for his ailments despite having acid reflux, flaky skin, and arthritis. <\/p>\n
He learned about colloidal silver, a silver-in-water solution that was formerly widely used as an antibiotic before penicillin was developed in the 1930s, through his own research.<\/p>\n
However, when researchers found that colloidal silver had the potential to seriously harm internal organs, they decided to outlaw it in over-the-counter drugs in 1999.<\/p>\n

Karason ingested what he thought to be a miraculous remedy for more than a decade. He also used a silver preparation on his skin and claimed it treated his arthritis and acid reflux. <\/p>\n
I was unable to remove a T-shirt off my body because of severe shoulder pain. And the very next moment, it was simply gone,\u2019he recalled.<\/p>\n
However, consistent usage of colloidal silver caused silver to build up in his body, resulting in the chronic and uncommon illness argyria. <\/p>\n
Karason didn’t aware he had gone blue until an old buddy questioned him, \u2018What have you done to yourself?\u2019 due to the silver buildup in his skin.<\/p>\n

Karason claimed that having blue skin had certain advantages for him. He didn’t need to wear sunglasses and never got sunburned. <\/p>\n

Karason also disclosed that he had trouble getting work since companies are reluctant to take on employees who are \u2018noticeably different\u2019or, in his case, blue.<\/p>\n

Tragically, heart-related issues caused Paul Karason’s death in 2013 at the age of 62.<\/p>\n

but it’s important to remember that these treatments might come with serious hazards. The best and <\/p>\n
