<\/p>\nAccording to reports, William Jazwinski was driving when he noticed a police car approaching from behind and signaling for him to stop.<\/p>\n
Jazwinski, a seasoned driver, asked the policeman, \u2018Good morning officer, was I speeding?\u2019 since he was concerned that he could have exceeded the speed limit.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In response, the officer said, \u2018I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the service you have provided.\u2019 There had not been a speeding infraction.<\/p>\n
When the officer said that he had spent fifteen months serving in the Middle East, Jazwinski was moved and thanked him.<\/p>\n

When the colonel noticed that Jazwinski had a flag on the dashboard of his car that resembled the one he <\/p>\n
received when his son passed away, he went on to tell that his own son did not return from his service before making an odd request of Jazwinski.<\/p>\n

Jazwinski claims the officer said, \u2018You make me think of my kid, that’s why I brought you to a stop, and asked <\/p>\n
if he would mind getting out to him a hug. At first, I thought you were him; I still can’t believe it.<\/p>\n
