In 1993, the actress went on a blind date and fell in love with screenwriter David E. Kelley. She finally got the go-ahead to adopt two months later. <\/p>\n
The new couple, however, were unfazed by this; Pfeiffer & Kelley raised the child together two months after first meeting, and they are still together now after 30 years. <\/p>\n
The \u2018Mother!\u2019 actress said that Kelley’s selection was confirmed by her. It distinguished the lads from the men, in her view. Pfeiffer and Kelley welcomed their son, John, a year later. <\/p>\n
