The musician began as a singer on demo tracks in the 1950s when she was just starting out in her profession. <\/p>\n
Francis finally signed a recording contract with MGM Records after working on her first job. <\/p>\n

Francis had no idea that the song would make her a huge fame and alter the course of her life.<\/p>\n
Despite having a successful career during her time in the field, there was a time in her life that some may consider the darkest. <\/p>\n
Francis went through some of the most traumatic experiences a human could go through throughout the 1970s and 1980s.<\/p>\n
The Oklahoman claims that the musician’s brother was murdered by mob hit men, she experienced sexual assault, miscarried a child, and had four failed marriages during the time.<\/p>\n
She was also given a manic depression diagnosis.<\/p>\n
The singer didn’t give up despite the negative in her life and continued to find happiness in the little things.<\/p>\n
Even though I was in a mental institution, I made an effort to find humor in everything. But I have to admit that the public’s support has also been extremely motivating. <\/p>\n
They supported me during my best and darkest moments and never stopped writing to me from all over the world,\u2019 she told the site.<\/p>\n

\u2018On Sunday, the day before my birthday, we had a party at my house. It must have been the biggest gathering of my best friends and longstanding acquaintances, she claimed in the post.<\/p>\n
Fans’ affection and support were abundant in the comment area, and some users even experienced nostalgia upon seeing the musician in new images.<\/p>\n
