When a performer takes the stage to perform in front of the judges on the hit show American Idol, everyone in the audience and in front of the screens prepares to hear pure talent.<\/p>\n

In most cases, contestants go through several selection rounds to prepare for performances in front of celebrity judges. <\/p>\n

Since they’ve made it this far, they’re definitely good, right? In some cases, they are not just good they are incomparable.<\/p>\n

This happened during a recent America Idol audition.The audience was in tears after the amazing performance of one girl on stage. <\/p>\n

Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie were shocked by what they heard that day.Sheyi, a young singer who <\/p>\n

is still in high school, stood in front of them, ready to perform with an emotional song called \u2018Rise Up\u2019.<\/p>\n

However, it was not only her voice that brought the audience into such a state. Before starting to sing, Sheyi confessed to the judges why she was on stage with a cane. <\/p>\n

About a year ago, Shayi complained to her mother that she couldn’t see the blackboard in class. After consultations <\/p>\n

with several doctors, they found out what was the reason the girl developed a brain tumor.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, the doctors managed to do everything necessary to save her life. But, unfortunately, the vision could not be saved. <\/p>\n

However, this did not make Shay stop singing! She has been singing all her life and loves it.<\/p>\n

After Shayi finished singing the popular song, Katy Perry told her that her voice sounded \u2018angelic\u2019. <\/p>\n

But Lionel Richie was the most touched! He stood up to hug Shayi with tears in his eyes, saying she \u2018shook him\u2019. <\/p>\n

He thanked her for the strength of her spirit and the reminder of how lucky most people really are. <\/p>\n

Sheyi received a lot of hugs and applause from all the judges and moved on to the next round. We want her to get as far as possible!<\/p>\n
