When The X Factor was at its peak and had over 14 million viewers, Simon Cowell was frequently photographed dining with famous people and being followed by paparazzi.<\/p>\n
He was well-known for his tight relationships with prominent figures in the entertainment and media industries, inviting them to dinners and other parties at his London mansion.<\/p>\n
The 63-year-old, however, recently sold his $57 million London home and relocated to the country, perhaps making a transition away from the entertainment business.<\/p>\n

According to The Daily Mail, Cowell’s fianc\u00e9e, Lauren Silverman, has assumed a significant leadership position in his entertainment company, Syco, while Cowell has little influence.<\/p>\n
The publication claims that aside of his current position as a judge on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, <\/p>\n
Cowell appears to not be spending much time with other famous people and has few other broadcast responsibilities.<\/p>\n
All of this is a result of Cowell’s wish to spend more time with his son Eric, who is nine years old. <\/p>\n
This desire is believed to have intensified ever since he was seriously hurt in an e-bike accident at <\/p>\n
his California home in 2020. The mishap resulted in a shattered back and a six-hour surgery.<\/p>\n
\u2018Simon’s trajectory has seen a complete transformation,\u2019 an individual close to Cowel stated. He used to aggressively seek out media coverage, <\/p>\n
and even his leisurely strolls would make the main page. But now he has withdrawn into anonymity and won’t say where he is.<\/p>\n

\u2018He once thrived on being a topic of discussion and intrigue, but now he shies away from the spotlight, <\/p>\n

Cowell decided to downsize Syco in January 2022, which resulted in the departure of the vast majority of his employees. <\/p>\n
Those close to the astute businessman, who started the company in 2004 as a record label, revealed his plans to concentrate only on his career as a television personality.<\/p>\n
According to sources, ITV, the network where The X Factor aired, started making a gradual shift towards <\/p>\n
developing more sympathetic reality shows like The Masked Singer several years ago, especially in light of the previous scandals that have dogged Cowell’s programs.<\/p>\n
David Walliams, a former co-star on Britain’s Got Talent, was caught on camera making lewd remarks about a female competitor and using inappropriate language toward an elderly auditionee.<\/p>\n
