Animals are affectionate and tender, yet they are also wary. They are concerned that they aren’t putting themselves in a risky or harmful scenario.<\/p>\n

A video that was uploaded to YouTube depicts a hurt animal that was reluctant to let the doctor check its hurt paw. The animal was brought in because its left front paw was hurt.<\/p>\n
Dr. Thomas Hamilton, a veterinarian, is shown in the opening scene of the short film sitting on the floor in front of the patient’s hairy four legs. <\/p>\n
In the beginning, the dog practically greets the doctor. The dog extends its right paw toward the student doctor. <\/p>\n
The vet shakes the dog’s paw but still wants to examine the wound on the other front paw. \u2018Can I have that one?\u2019 the doctor asks the animal, pointing to the left paw.<\/p>\n
Again, the animal shows its uncertainty by handing the doctor its right paw in response.
\nAfter that, the doctor approaches the animal and says, \u2018I’m trying to help you.\u2019<\/p>\n

Dr. Hamilton extends both hands to the dog, letting it smell them both. The dog responds once more by extending its right paw to the doctor.<\/p>\n
He reaches for the damaged paw after firmly grabbing the animal’s right paw with both hands. After getting used to Dr. Hamilton, the animal agrees to let him inspect its wounded limb.<\/p>\n
The veterinarian works on the animal’s paw in various ways. He discovers that the animal was in discomfort due to a fractured nail. <\/p>\n
He suggests that the animal’s nails be cut by the owner. It appears that nothing further is required.<\/p>\n
