<\/p>\nA girl named Beatrice was brought to see the captain on a flight home from Tokyo, according to a Texas tale.<\/p>\n
Beatrice, an American Girl Doll, would return home with her devoted owner, 9-year-old Valentina Dominguez, <\/p>\n
who was heartbroken after losing the doll on a trip of a similar nature a month earlier.<\/p>\n

After a family trip to Japan, Valentina and her parents hurriedly checked the luggage in an attempt to locate her best friend, <\/p>\n
but they were unsuccessful. Beatrice must have been left on the plane or lost at Haneda Airport, according to her father Rudy.<\/p>\n
Fortunately, a social media post about the doll caught the attention of a friend, who then informed a neighbor, who informed James Danen, a 30-year veteran first officer of American Airlines.<\/p>\n
He got in touch with Turkish Airlines’ lost and found staff and was led to their employees at Haneda Airport in Tokyo <\/p>\n

who by that point had located Beatrice. He later described his willingness to assist others as something that was \u2018in his nature.\u2019<\/p>\n
It’s just who I am. Danen stated, \u2018I enjoy assisting people… that’s just what I enjoy doing, <\/p>\n
