Aryna Sabalenka was defeated by Gauff by a score of 2-6, 6-3, 6-2. Gauff has seemingly appeared out of thin air, <\/p>\n
which has propelled her to international recognition as a result of her victory. The 19-year-old has only been in two finals and this was her maiden Grand Slam.<\/p>\n

Her response to winning the competition went viral. However, one particular thing she did after realizing she had won has drawn a lot of criticism from internet users.<\/p>\n
She was spotted kneeling down and clasping her hands in prayer. The video was posted on ESPN’s X (formerly known as Twitter), <\/p>\n
along with the text, \u2018@CocoGauff took a moment to soak it all in after winning her first Grand Slam title.\u2019<\/p>\n
Tony Dungy, the head coach of the Super Bowl victorious team, did not like what ESPN had to say about Gauff’s celebration. <\/p>\n
\u2018I hate to break it to you, SportsCenter, but Coco Gauff was not’soaking it all in’ at this moment,\u2019 he wrote in response to their tweet. <\/p>\n
As she prayed. She has previously been extremely transparent about her Christian religion. What she is doing in this place seems very clear.<\/p>\n

\u2018ESPN tried to say she was soaking it all in,\u2019 he wrote. No, that’s prayer, and it’s wonderful to see a young athlete recognize its source.<\/p>\n
Others, though, did not think much of the remark. The suggestion that praying is what affects outcomes was <\/p>\n
unpopular with the public. Someone questioned whether the other team’s defeat was the result of insufficient prayer on their part.<\/p>\n
Another angry user questioned whether God was more interested in sports as a result of the earthquake that damaged hundreds of people in Morocco.<\/p>\n

However, Coco Gauff is already adept at tuning out \u2018haters.\u2019 She expressed her pride in her hard-earned success. <\/p>\n
She attributed her perseverance to her faith and her parents. She reflected on her defeat at the French Open and said it was just one of life’s ups and downs.<\/p>\n
She also had a message for those who did not support her and wished for her defeat. She remarked, \u2018Honestly, <\/p>\n
to those who thought you were putting water on my fire, you were really adding gas to it — and now I’m really burning so bright right now.\u2019<\/p>\n
Both those who praised her and those who attempted to undermine her win were present. The tennis pro received a lot of <\/p>\n
encouragement from those who were pleased with her victory. Even how a second Serena Williams was discovered was implied by one commenter.<\/p>\n
