That is precisely why, as he recently documented on his Instagram, he astonished guests with an impromptu piano performance in a hotel lobby.<\/p>\n

Hopkins uploaded a video of himself playing a lovely piece of piano music with the description, \u2018when an empty hotel lobby is the perfect venue.\u2019<\/p>\n
However, as he sat behind the piano and lit its ivories, the hotel lobby wasn’t deserted for very long.<\/p>\n

He has shared recordings of his endearing piano performances with his 4.3 million Instagram followers before; in fact, he does it frequently.<\/p>\n
And his illustrious fans can’t wait to express their gratitude. Actor Jeff Goldblum’s third wife Emilie <\/p>\n
Livingston Goldblum said: \u2018Aw, that’s like Jeff anytime he can play! Sir, you sound wonderful!\u2019<\/p>\n
Following their respective roles in the 2016 superhero film Thor: Ragnarok, <\/p>\n
Sir Anthony and Jeff Goldblum became friends and undoubtedly saw similar qualities in one another.<\/p>\n
During the pandemic’s lockdown period, Sir Anthony Hopkins, who had just found social media, posted a video of himself singing to his cat Niblo, which quickly went viral.<\/p>\n
Since then, Hopkins’ Instagram account has grown to be a veritable treasure mine of adorable videos of him playing the piano, dancing joyfully, and acting silly.<\/p>\n
Sir Anthony, who is also well-known for being a composer, almost chose a different career route since his mother Annie wanted him to study music and become a concert pianist.<\/p>\n
The legendary actor admitted to NPR in 2012: \u2018She, of course, wanted me to be a concert pianist, and I had different plans.\u2019<\/p>\n
I truly only wanted to be a composer; acting happened by accident. I received a scholarship to a music and theater institution in the hopes of receiving one for music.<\/p>\n

He said, that it wasn’t a horrible career to stumble into, \u2018but I ended up as an acting student, so I’ve stuck with that for the last fifty or so years.\u2019<\/p>\n
Along with his remarkable accomplishments in the entertainment industry, Sir Anthony has also written music for movies and television, <\/p>\n
reached No. 76 in the UK charts with his debut single, \u2018Distant Star,\u2019 and published an album of classical music in 2012 under the name Composer.<\/p>\n
