The romance between Pen\u00e9lope Cruz and Javier Bardem is akin to a Hollywood love story, except it takes place in real life and features Spanish actors. <\/p>\n
They first met and began working together on the set of the film Jam\u00f3n, Jam\u00f3n, but they didn’t get back together until 2008.<\/p>\n
They both developed professionally, making names for themselves in the film industry and rising to the top of the Spanish acting world.<\/p>\n

They reconnected on the set of Vicky Cristina Barcelona in 2008 to work on the movie, thanks to renowned filmmaker Woody Allen. <\/p>\n
The fact that they did not suppress their emotions in the face of the favorable hand of fate confirmed their love for one another.<\/p>\n
In the Bahamas, they had a private wedding celebration in 2010. Leo, their first son, was then followed by Luna, their first daughter. <\/p>\n
The pair has solidified their love throughout the years, despite the fact that they both live secret lives hidden from the public eye. <\/p>\n
Cruz and Bardem are a prime example of what it means to actually fall in love, having been married <\/p>\n
for ten years, dating for thirteen years, and spending a lifetime getting to know one another.<\/p>\n

The couple’s relationship is most strongly bonded by their children, Leo (10), and Luna (8), in addition to their shared love of movies.<\/p>\n
Like any good parents, the Spanish couple wants to do everything in their power to keep their children safe. <\/p>\n
Pen\u00e9lope Cruz acknowledged that she is a very rigorous parent to her children when it comes to electronic media in an interview for CBS Sunday Morning. <\/p>\n
\u2018I have an odd relationship with social media; I use it sparingly and with great caution. There is something going on that is absurd, <\/p>\n
and it particularly affects the younger generations. I feel awful for those who are teenagers right now.<\/p>\n
Cruz claims that they feel as though the world is subjecting them to some sort of experiment. Oh, let’s see what happens when a 12-year-old is exposed to that much technology.<\/p>\n

Cruz also made a point of highlighting the lack of safeguards that prevent youngsters from participating in any type of social networking <\/p>\n
and her concern for kids’ still-developing brains. \u2018How it impacts their self-perception or anything related to bullying.\u2019<\/p>\n
Cruz has approximately 6 million Instagram followers, but she only posts anything related to her career, <\/p>\n
and she already knows where she stands with her kids. She forbids them from having cell phones or social media accounts until they are \u2018older,\u2019<\/p>\n
in an effort to educate them about the responsible use of technology. Because of these actions, <\/p>\n
she describes herself as \u2018very tough on technology.\u2019 I think this is safeguarding mental health, but I seem to be in the minority, she continued.<\/p>\n
She also added that occasionally, she does let her kids watch cartoons or movies. How am I to prevent kids <\/p>\n
from watching movies? Since I was a young child, they have provided me with tremendous joyous memories.<\/p>\n

However, Cruz and Bardem agree that raising their children is their top concern. Neither of them has been persuaded by the views of outsiders and has remained very steadfast in this regard.<\/p>\n

Bardem said that before being a father, he had no concept of what unconditional love was. “It practically hurts my heart to be gone for longer than two weeks. Physical symptoms start to manifest in my body.<\/p>\n
His goal has always been to be a present parent, something he was unable to experience as a child, so he makes an effort to live up to his expectations.<\/p>\n
