<\/p>\nMark Wahlberg has recently spoken up about his plans for the future in the entertainment industry, revealing that he ‘doesn’t think he’ll be acting much longer’.<\/p>\n
The actor, now 52 years old, first came to prominence in the early 1990s as a member of the hip hop group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, where he performed as a rapper.<\/p>\n

He transitioned into film as his hip hop career came to an end by making his screen debut in Renaissance Man in 1992, which led to important roles in the teen thriller Fear.<\/p>\n
Following his critically acclaimed performance as porn star Dirk Diggler in Boogie Nights, he went on to score a number of leading parts in movies like The Departed, Ted, and the Transformers series.<\/p>\n
In an interview for Cigar Aficionado’s September\/October edition, Wahlberg was honest about his business ventures, intentions for the future, and his career thus far.<\/p>\n

The two-time Academy Award winner said when questioned about his future plans: \u2018Well, I’m working harder than ever right now.\u2019<\/p>\n
Certain businesses are ones that you kind of start, run, or sell. We’ll see what my kids’ hobbies are, <\/p>\n
hopefully, but I doubt I’ll be moving at my current speed for very long.
\nThat much is true. Because that is the most challenging task.<\/p>\n
The father-of-four has starred in a number of movies that have been out recently, including Uncharted, <\/p>\n
Me Time, Father Stu, and movies that are still in development, such as Arthur the King, Our Man from Jersey, and The Family Plan.<\/p>\n

The bulk of Wahlberg’s most recent movies have him listed as a producer, a topic he addressed in an interview.<\/p>\n
\u2018I started becoming a producer out of necessity,\u2019 he said. \u2018I didn’t want to wait around for Leo [DiCaprio] to go and pass on a movie until I <\/p>\n
could get my hands on it, or for Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise or whoever was previously established before me and were the guys at the time.<\/p>\n
I always took the initiative to look for content and things that I could make since I knew they would help me achieve my goals and control my own fate.<\/p>\n
In addition to his filming commitments, Wahlberg gained notoriety in 2018 for his extreme morning regimen, <\/p>\n
which included waking up at 2:30 a.m., eating breakfast at 3:15 a.m., and performing his first workout between 3:40 a.m. and 5:15 a.m.<\/p>\n
When the actor was questioned in 2022 about his famous daily schedule, he acknowledged that he had changed things up a bit and that his new schedule wasn’t quite as brutal.<\/p>\n
