Pam and Mark were well-known by the time of their 1987 wedding.<\/p>\n

In 1986, Mark had just been named \u2018Sexiest Man Alive\u2019 by PEOPLE magazine, and Pam was enjoying her notoriety as a result of the enduring television series \u2018Mork & Mindy.\u2019<\/p>\n

Pam, however, made a decision that would change her life at the height of her profession.
\nShe made the decision to put her wife and mothering first by shunning the spotlight.<\/p>\n

Pam was open about her decision in a conversation she had with Entertainment Tonight exclusively.<\/p>\n

She asserted, \u2018I don’t think two individuals can work full-time in show industry and remain married.<\/p>\n

This wasn’t just a passing thought; she had made a deliberate choice that, in her opinion, was essential to the health of their marriage.<\/p>\n

Pam thoroughly embraced the rewards and duties of motherhood after welcoming their two sons into the world.<\/p>\n

She was actually living her dream; she wasn’t just going through the motions.<\/p>\n

\u2018I completed every task that was possible in this line of work before having kids. I desired to transport my children to school.<\/p>\n

She continued, \u2018I wanted to be there for their birthdays, deliver cupcakes and donuts, participate in the school festivals, and I did all of that.<\/p>\n

Mark carried on advancing his acting career at this time, most notably with a recurring part in \u2018NCIS.\u2019<\/p>\n

The couple has been blissfully married for more than three decades as of the present. Now that their sons are grown, they are forging their own destinies.<\/p>\n

Pam quickly played down the significance of having famous parents when questioned about it.
\n\u2018I’m only their mother. They aren’t interested in what I did. They are invested in their work.<\/p>\n

\u2018They desire parental concern for their actions. For two sons, their father is already well-known enough. I am only the mother.<\/p>\n

Pam took a break from acting to prioritize her family, but she has periodically made a comeback for <\/p>\n

starring roles in movies and television series including \u2018The Crazy Ones\u2019 and \u2018The Odd Couple.\u2019<\/p>\n

Her irregular comebacks have been driven more by passion than by necessity, which speaks to her adaptable approach to life.<\/p>\n

Mark has also provided his insight into how their marriage has endured throughout time.<\/p>\n

We were both in our thirties when we got married, so hopefully the dumb things we did earlier, he remarked in a discussion with PEOPLE. I think that’s the closest thing I have to the key.<\/p>\n
