<\/p>\nWhen Kelsi and Kyle Pierce got married, they were eager to raise a family but had no idea what kind of journey lay ahead.<\/p>\n
In order to begin their new life together, the pair relocated to Minnesota after being married in 2016. <\/p>\n
They didn’t take long to begin trying to have children.The process of becoming pregnant proved to be challenging, so Kelsi visited her doctor to learn why.<\/p>\n
Following IVF, doctors discovered that Kelsi’s uterine lining was too thin to support a pregnancy, despite initially telling the couple that she had a poor ovarian reserve.<\/p>\n
The couple tried for two years and used all of their financial resources in the process. Last but not least, <\/p>\n
Kelsi’s physician destroyed her heart by informing her that she would never be able to conceive.<\/p>\n

Good Morning America quoted Kelsi as saying, \u2018We had already spent more than our savings and gone into <\/p>\n
incredible debt just for what we had done, so it wasn’t an option.\u2019 \u2018It was a very gloomy period.\u2019<\/p>\n
When they learned that a gestational carrier would cost $100,000, they decided against getting one. That is, until Lisa Rutherford, Kelsi’s mother, intervened.<\/p>\n
The mom, 53, offered to bear her daughter’s unborn child.<\/p>\n
When you have children, you want their lives to be better, simpler, and more satisfying than your own, according to Lisa. <\/p>\n
\u2018I just realized that while I don’t have $100,000 to give you, there is something I can do to help you realize your ambition. There was no question at all.<\/p>\n
Mom To determine whether she would be able to assist her daughter in this way, Lisa had to undergo a variety of tests. <\/p>\n
The technique was finally approved in December 2019. The following February, she found out she was expecting her daughter’s child.<\/p>\n

The family was even more shocked when Kelsi discovered she was expecting in March.<\/p>\n
It was a fantastic experience.<\/p>\n
It was a lot of fun to chat about our own experiences, and I was so pleased for Kelsi to be able to carry a baby, Lisa said.<\/p>\n
Two months separated the deliveries of the mother and daughter. The mother and grandmother are overjoyed that they are both daughters called Everly and Ava.<\/p>\n
I constantly remind myself that this is my goal coming true when something is difficult or I’m feeling worn out, <\/p>\n
