The two most recent winners of “America’s Got Talent”\u2014Darci Lynne Farmer, a 14-year-old vocalist and ventriloquist from Oklahoma City, <\/p>\n

and Shin Lim, a close-up magic illusionist\u2014were the two acts competing in the \u2018America’s Got Talent: The Champions\u2019 finale.<\/p>\n

In the end, they were won over by Lim’s captivating close-up card trick, but Darci Lynne Farmer’s performance was unforgettable <\/p>\n

thanks to her endearing senior puppet, \u2018Edna,\u2019 who also seems to be in love with Simon Cowell, as you are about to see.<\/p>\n

50 contestants from franchises around the world competed on the Champions spin-off, including Got Talent superstars Susan Boyle and Paul Potts. The final 12 were chosen for the two-hour finale.<\/p>\n

Darci had previously been eliminated from the competition, but she returned after being given a \u2018wild card\u2019 contestant\u2014basically, <\/p>\n

a merit-based free ticket to the finals. To everyone’s amazement, the internet phenomenon Susan Boyle, <\/p>\n

who performed the song she selected for her debut audition on \u2018Britain’s Got Talent\u2019 ten years prior, was not selected.<\/p>\n

After been eliminated earlier and being saved by the wild card, Darci acknowledged that it was amazing she <\/p>\n

had even advanced that far. She declared, \u2018I want this to be the greatest comeback ever. I got the wild card.<\/p>\n

Along with her puppet Edna and Rowlf the Dog from the Muppets, Darci\u2014whom presenter Terry Crews called \u2018one of the most amazing performers in the history of the show”\u2014performed.<\/p>\n

Her senior puppet grumbled that Simon hadn’t called, which prompted the Carpenters’ Can’t Smile Without You to be performed. <\/p>\n

At the conclusion, Simon approached Edna and kissed her before saying, \u2018I actually love you. And I apologize for not calling. <\/p>\n

Darci’s Edna exclaimed, \u2018He makes my heart flutter,\u2019 in response. I cherish you, Simon. Then she passed out. How hilarious!<\/p>\n
