When you’re out and about, it’s not often that you get to hear a skilled musician perform live.<\/p>\n

While waiting for connections, passengers at London’s St. Pancras Station are often treated to impromptu piano recitals.<\/p>\n

There are two pianos in the station, and some of the musicians who play them are so good that they may make some passengers late for their trains.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Dr. K, a stage name for Brendan Kavanagh, is one of these talented musicians.<\/p>\n

Dr. K is a multi-talented individual who has jobs as a teacher, business owner, author, and pianist.<\/p>\n

He and another pianist, Jim Hammond, participated in a Boogie Woogie jam session at the train station a number of years ago.<\/p>\n

It initially seemed like a standard performance.<\/p>\n

Dr. K sat down next to Jim Hammond and started playing as a spectator in a jean jacket stood back and watched.<\/p>\n

These men were good right away, that much was obvious.Fast-moving fingers struck the keys, creating a vibrant Boogie Woogie duet.<\/p>\n

But after that, it reached a new level.<\/p>\n

Later, the \u2018observer\u2019 (Rusty Lupton) nodded, walked up to the piano, and joined the performance without skipping a note.<\/p>\n

It was nothing less than breathtaking!
\nThey were not just very talented, but three persons playing the piano?<\/p>\n

That surely doesn’t happen very often!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

In the 1920s, the piano-based blues style known as \u2018boogie woogie\u2019 became increasingly popular.<\/p>\n

Dr. K is dedicated to maintaining this vivacious and positive style and teaches and performs in numerous open spaces across London.<\/p>\n

On occasion, he will dress up and dazzle bystanders with his ivories-ticking prowess.<\/p>\n

It is a true joy to watch these incredibly gifted group play together.They are crammed close together in front of the piano, their hands tapping away quickly.<\/p>\n

The pianist is playing with such talent that onlookers are drawn to stop and take a look.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The trio also moves about a bit.<\/p>\n

The guys switch places throughout the entertaining Boogie Woogie session, switching off on various instruments without skipping a beat.<\/p>\n

Really entertaining to see, too! Who knew a piano could accommodate so many hands?<\/p>\n

The performance not only fascinated the audience, but it also gained a lot of popularity online.<\/p>\n
