<\/p>\nOn the day of her wedding, a bride received a letter and card from her deceased father.<\/p>\n
When Philip Hargreaves, her father, passed away at the age of 53 from oesophageal cancer, 32-year-old Freya Rosati was just 11 years old.<\/p>\n
They used to work together on everything. If Freya’s mother ever said \u2018no,\u2019 her dad would always <\/p>\n
answer \u2018yes.\u2019He would take her to dancing lessons, watch movies with her, and play games with her.<\/p>\n

But in the weeks leading up to his passing, Philip composed nine cards for Freya, eight for birthdays and one for her wedding.<\/p>\n
Instead of Philip giving the father-of-the-bride speech, Theresa read the card to the wedding guests, leaving everyone inconsolable.<\/p>\n
The Buckinghamshire bride remarked, \u2018Even just looking at his handwriting on that card, it really simply seemed like <\/p>\n
he was there, and it was really beautiful. \u2018The reading of the card was such a sad moment, but it was also so significant to me.\u2019<\/p>\n
when your proudest father in the world, I would love to be there with you when you walk down the aisle with the man <\/p>\n

Freya, a self-described \u2018daddy’s girl,\u2019 was anxious to involve her father as much as possible on her special day. <\/p>\n
As a result, there were subtle nods to their 11 years of marriage throughout the music and decorations. <\/p>\n
Freya used steel pans to accompany her as she walked down the aisle after taking a vacation to Antigua. <\/p>\n
