Considering this, it’s certain that a lot of people would find it shocking that a woman of her caliber would base her judgment on the choices made by a dog.<\/p>\n

At first appearance, the issue appeared to be clear; it concerned who should take custody of a dog named Baby Boy. <\/p>\n

The defendant said that she had purchased the dog off the street for a pitiful fifty dollars, while the plaintiff insisted that the dog was his.<\/p>\n

Judge Judy looked to be unsure of the veracity of Baby Boy’s owner’s identification and to have some <\/p>\n

misgivings about the material the defendant provided, which was a mountain of photos and paperwork.<\/p>\n

In order to allow the dog to finally show its love and loyalty for its rightful owner, she asked the defendant to bring the dog into the courtroom and set it on the floor. <\/p>\n

The legendary judge urged the defendant to bring the dog into the courtroom and place it on the floor, relying on the man’s closest friend’s loyalty to support her decision.<\/p>\n

Without even a moment’s hesitation, the dog ran toward the claimant. The plaintiff was later allowed <\/p>\n

to bring the dog home with him by the judge, who became more aware of the circumstances.<\/p>\n
