<\/p>\nTeam Reba pitted her country crooners against one other in a classic clash on Monday!<\/p>\n
Reba McEntire issued a legendary country showdown challenge to the contestants on a recent episode of \u2018The Voice.\u2019<\/p>\n
Ruby Leigh and Al Boogie of Team Reba sang a duet of the Dolly Parton classic \u2018Jolene\u2019 on Monday night during their Battle. It was a song sung in their honor.<\/p>\n
Ruby is undoubtedly one of the coaches’ favorites for season 24, especially after her amazing yodeling performance in <\/p>\n
the Blind Auditions that earned her a four-chair turn. However, Niall Horan described Al’s tone as being \u2018so infectious.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018I was so excited to hear you again because what happened here at your Blind Audition was one of the most memorable moments I’ve had on the show,\u2019 he said, lavishing Ruby with praises despite this.<\/p>\n

Ruby is only 16 years old, but Gwen Stefani claims that she frequently forgets this because of how impressive her voice and stage presence make her seem. <\/p>\n
She addressed the young singer, saying, \u2018You yodeled it, and it was stunningly perfect. I had chills up and down my body when you [sang] ‘cry.’\u2019<\/p>\n
Both Gwen and Niall were leaning in Ruby’s direction, but Gwen said, \u2018That’s not fair, because Al Boogie, you are amazing!\u2019<\/p>\n
In accord, John Legend added, \u2018You both were compelling.\u2019 \u2018Al, I think you started off as the underdog in your career. But, dude, you really hit the mark. You excelled at it.<\/p>\n
He showered Ruby with compliments, saying, \u2018I love how much character your voice has.\u2019 Simply said, you feel very much in control of your identity as an artist.<\/p>\n
The pair’s coach, Reba, stated that the Battle \u2018showed the versatility of you both.\u2019<\/p>\n
She had encouraged Ruby to show more emotion during their practice sessions, and Ruby received this praise: <\/p>\n
\u2018You performed magnificently, you made me very proud.\u2019 But she went on to remark that Al \u2018knocked it out of the park when he stepped up to the plate.\u2019<\/p>\n

After all, Ruby emerged victorious and will now compete for Team Reba in the Three-Way Knockouts!<\/p>\n
Gwen talked about how strange it is for her to rejoin The Voice without her spouse Blake Shelton at her side in an interview with ET. <\/p>\n
The interview was conducted prior to the Battles of this season. The Cowboy had stated earlier this year that he will be departing the NBC singing competition after 23 seasons.<\/p>\n
The actress remarked, \u2018It feels kind of like my first season, before I knew he existed.\u2019 \u2018It’s kind of strange, but I’m also really enjoying myself.\u2019<\/p>\n
Gwen said, \u2018Like, the only reason I’m here is because it’s fun.\u2019 \u2018My favorite part is coaching and really getting to know your team after the Blinds because it’s like, the dream’s there.\u2019<\/p>\n
She did concede, though, that it can be a little unsettling to turn to face Blake’s chair and see The Voice’s newest coach\u2014the Queen of Country herself.<\/p>\n
Gwen giggled as she remembered the Blind Auditions and considered how Reba had handled her first season thus far.<\/p>\n
\u2018She did a really good job. She remembered that she didn’t have to help her in any way.She might remark something like,<\/p>\n
\u2018I think you were amazing.\u2019 If you performed for me, I would feel honored, and people would say, \u2018I picked you!\u2019<\/p>\n
