Sam Rouen shed an incredible 157 pounds while competing on The Biggest Loser in 2008. At just 19 years old, <\/p>\n

he weighed about 340 pounds, and he went on to become the youngest winner of The Biggest Loser in Australia, breaking previous records. <\/p>\n

He discusses life after the win, his progress eleven years after appearing on the show, and his future aspirations in this 2019 video. <\/p>\n

Sam has maintained his weight loss and is still leading a healthy lifestyle now. The hosts of the Australian talk show Studio 10 <\/p>\n

invited him for an interview in which they went into further detail about his past experiences and present life.<\/p>\n

In the video below, Sam is asked if he remembers struggling at all when he was 19 years old and how he thinks about himself in retrospect. <\/p>\n

He responds, \u2018I don’t think I really do…it seems like a lifetime ago.\u2019 It’s been a while since I’ve ever actually looked at pictures like that. <\/p>\n

I feel like I’ve changed drastically.\u2019 He says he was a really happy child with lots of friends, but he also said that being overweight might make you feel a little depressed. <\/p>\n

difficulties maintaining a weight loss program that would eventually yield results and reducing weight. <\/p>\n

Despite growing up as a huge kid, he maintained his physical fitness and participated in sports like cross-country running. <\/p>\n
