<\/p>\nJennifer Garner spoke openly about social media and her three children\u2014Violet, Seraphina Rose, and Samuel\u2014that she shares with her ex-husband Ben Affleck on NBC’s Today show. <\/p>\n
Her most recent effort, The Last Thing He Told Me, premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday. She informed Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb that none of them were permitted on social networking sites.<\/p>\n

\u2018I just told my kids to show me the studies that support teens’ use of social media, and then we can have the conversation,\u2019 Garner remarked. <\/p>\n
\u2018Find scientific proof that supports my findings and indicates that it is harmful to teenagers.\u2019 Next, we’ll talk.<\/p>\n
\u2018My eldest is grateful,\u2019 Garner said of the choice. Samuel is eleven, Seraphina Rose is fourteen, and Violet is seventeen. <\/p>\n
Garner stated that the younger two should not use social media. \u2018Let’s see.\u2019 It’s a long road, after all. Just pray for me, I have a few more to go. We’ll see whether I manage to stick with it.<\/p>\n
Garner has long maintained strong beliefs about keeping her children off of social media, according to People. <\/p>\n
In 2019, she discussed the reasons behind Violet’s Instagram ban at the age of 13, as she appeared on the podcast \u2018Next Question with Katie Couric.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018I worry about kids having to deal with this new pressure, not even having parents who are well-known,\u2019 she remarked. <\/p>\n

\u2018My kid attends an all-girl school, and there are a lot of issues. Every now and then, she’ll chat to me about creating an Instagram account, <\/p>\n
and I can understand why since I use it for fun and model behavior that is opposite of what I want her to do. How frequently does parenting go like that?<\/p>\n
\u2018But everything you look at, I don’t see anything that will help you,\u2019 Garner went on. I just don’t see it, but you can look at mine whenever you like, and we can discuss it together.<\/p>\n
Even though Garner acknowledged that using social media \u2018makes you feel more connected,\u2019 she also disclosed that she reluctantly joined Instagram and has since stuck to her own agenda.<\/p>\n
She mentioned her organic baby food firm, Once Upon a Farm, when she added, \u2018I joined Instagram because of them.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018I did it kicking and screaming, but that was just part of the deal because I wanted to be involved with this company so badly.\u2019<\/p>\n
