As it turned out, this disease progresses very rapidly. Bruce’s ex-wife Demi Moore realized this the other day.<\/p>\n

A few days ago, the famous actress Demi Moore said that she experienced a heartbreaking moment: after a vacation in Italy, she came to visit her ex-husband, 68-year-old Bruce Willis, but he could not recognize her.<\/p>\n
The 60-year-old actress said that this situation simply knocked the ground out from under her feet. <\/p>\n
After all, it\u2019s hard to realize that the man with whom she lived in marriage for 13 years, giving birth to three daughters during this time, now does not recognize her.<\/p>\n

Yes, this terrible neurodegenerative disease – dementia – does not spare anyone, not even a tough nut to crack. <\/p>\n
And although now Bruce cannot recognize his ex-wife, he, fortunately, still recognizes his wife Emma and his children.<\/p>\n

At the end of September 2023, Emma said in one of her television programs that everything that happens to the actor is also destructive for those who love him. <\/p>\n
\u2018Dementia is hard,\u2019 Emma said. \u2018It\u2019s hard for both the person diagnosed and the family. When they say it\u2019s a family disease, it really is.\u2019<\/p>\n
When asked by the presenter whether her husband understood his condition, Emma replied: \u2018It\u2019s hard to say.\u2019<\/p>\n

By the way, studies show that loneliness in older people increases the risk of dementia by one third. <\/p>\n
Therefore, do not forget to visit and communicate with your parents and grandparents more often.<\/p>\n
