Featuring the Southern California Children’s Chorus, Aerosmith reworked their classic \u2018Dream On\u2019 as a moving tribute to the victims of the Boston Marathon Bombing. <\/p>\n

Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, aka the Toxic Twins, join the choir for a concert in a vast cathedral that is both beautiful and eerie.<\/p>\n

The arrangement is radically different from the original, with Tyler’s piano and Perry’s guitar being the only instrumentation, producing a stark and ominous vibe. <\/p>\n

In addition, Perry’s gloomy guitar riffs complement Tyler’s somber vocals, which he completely reworks to transform into a moving dirge. <\/p>\n

There are perhaps a couple of dozen teenage singers in the choir, and their pitch-perfect harmonies <\/p>\n

Perry turned up the effects on his guitar to enhance the arrangement’s ambiance and fill out the sound. <\/p>\n

In comparison to the original rock arrangement, Perry’s version of the song features a significantly <\/p>\n

larger piano section, and the lead guitar has been entirely reworked to fit the song’s minimalist vibe.<\/p>\n
