A video that was uploaded on YouTube revealed that Allison Blosfield and her husband, Eric, were expecting a boy. <\/p>\n

It was also disclosed to the couple that there was a high probability of Down syndrome in their offspring. <\/p>\n

Allison was horrified to hear this news, but her husband’s response was more composed.<\/p>\n

Allison described it as \u2018just this instant, like, sinking feeling.\u2019 \u2018When I told my husband that our child might have Down syndrome, <\/p>\n

he responded extremely calmly. And it was just like, \u2018Whatever happens, honey, we’ll deal with it,\u2019 you know? You know, don’t worry about it, it’s cool. As I’m sitting there, I’m crying.<\/p>\n

Allison shared on social media that her pregnant kid has been diagnosed with Down syndrome. She claims that people in that online Down syndrome group <\/p>\n

contacted her right away and extended a warm welcome to her and her family. They comforted her, spoke well of her, and offered support. <\/p>\n

However, Allison and Eric discovered that their infant boy had Hydrops Fetalis during a follow-up visit. <\/p>\n

The movie describes hydrops fetalis as a potentially fatal disorder where an excessive amount of fluid accumulates around the heart, lungs, <\/p>\n

and other critical organs and tissues of the unborn child. The couple was given the opportunity to end their pregnancy by the doctors. Allison would not take the life of her unborn child.<\/p>\n

\u2018I recall being seated when the physician said something like, ‘These are your options; we can end this.’\u2019<\/p>\n

And I thought, \u2018I could finish now.\u2019 I could just give up and leave. And after catching my breath and giving it some thinking, I was like, \u2018No.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018I told them that Eric and I were going to take our son home and we were just going to spend time together, like a family,\u2019 Allison continued.<\/p>\n

Following the heartbreaking news, Eric and Allison made arrangements for the death of their unborn child. <\/p>\n

However, something unexpected happened after that. Baby Ethan started to move and kick, and Allison could feel him doing so. <\/p>\n

Then another miracle happened at their subsequent check-up. The child’s heart and lungs did not appear to be surrounded by any fluid, <\/p>\n

according to the medical staff. The physician informed the couple, \u2018This is not normal.\u2019 The Hydrops Fetalis had vanished entirely. <\/p>\n

Eric and Allison were informed by the physicians that Ethan had a serious cardiac condition. Ethan \u2018would not make it to birth,\u2019<\/p>\n

it was informed to them. Ethan had very little chance of surviving past 24 hours, even if he did make it to birth. <\/p>\n

Little Ethan was born in December of 2022. Although his heart condition was not as severe as the doctors had initially believed, <\/p>\n

he spent the first month of his life in the NICU. Ethan’s health got worse despite being in the hospital, having a major heart procedure, and fighting all the time. <\/p>\n

The difficult and heartbreaking choice to remove their beloved baby boy from life support was made by Eric and Allison. <\/p>\n

It was the first time the child had been outside, so they spent time together, holding their child in their arms on the hospital roof. <\/p>\n

With their beloved son, Eric and Allison were able to enjoy 199 days together. The family honored baby Ethan with a celebration of life after the infant passed away.<\/p>\n

\u2018We wanted to celebrate my son’s 199 days of life,\u2019 Allison remarked. \u2018I wanted to celebrate that he broke down barriers, <\/p>\n

overcame adversity, and demonstrated that miracles do happen. He accomplished more than doctors had predicted.\u2019<\/p>\n
