Despite having a fruitful relationship, she and real estate agent Melanie Leis divorced when their marriage did not last. <\/p>\n
Leis worked in a restaurant that McGillis co-owned, and oddly enough, the two had previously had some previous experience together.<\/p>\n
McGillis set out on a quest to have a deeper understanding of herself long before she became well-known. <\/p>\n
Before she became well-known, at the age of twelve, she came to the conclusion that she was gay. <\/p>\n
She achieved success, but problems like panic attacks came with her notoriety. She had to pay the price.<\/p>\n
