After meeting and falling madly in love, a couple marries in the courthouse in a matter of months.<\/p>\n

This time, the well-known tale isn’t about a youthful, idealistic couple. Rather, there are two centenarians.<\/p>\n

In Sylvania, Ohio, there is a senior living community called Kingston Residence where John and Phyllis Cook reside. <\/p>\n

Even though their flats were just one story away, they managed to find each other and develop a close relationship.<\/p>\n

Phyllis, who turns 103 this summer, said to WNWO, \u2018To tell you the truth, we fell in love with each other.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018I understand you believe that might be a bit unrealistic for someone our age, but we fell in love.\u2019<\/p>\n

John, a 100-year-old WWII veteran, said, \u2018Well, we were just compatible in a lot of ways and found ourselves enjoying each other’s company.\u2019 After two prior marriages, they were both widows.<\/p>\n

But they spend more time together than just playing bingo. John responded, \u2018Well, I probably shouldn’t talk about that,\u2019when asked what their favorite thing to do was.<\/p>\n

In contrast, Phyllis was more direct:<\/p>\n

\u2018Neither he nor I are sexually dead entirely!\u2019 Phyllis revealed to KHOU 11. \u2018I just don’t believe in hopping in bed as a Christian unless you’re married,” she said, weighing her principles.<\/p>\n

They went to the courthouse to obtain a marriage certificate after John promised to make her an honest wife.<\/p>\n

They didn’t realize they would be walking out of the courtroom as husband and wife.
\nJohn told WNWO, <\/p>\n

\u2018It wasn’t planned, but when we arrived, they said we could marry you here.\u2019 It was obvious that he was eager to tie the knot: \u2018I said, ‘good, let’s get it over with.\u2019<\/p>\n

The couple has a lot more happy years ahead of them. They might have some good genes going for them despite their advanced age, as Phyllis’ mother lived to be 106 years old.<\/p>\n

This tale proves that you may always start over and find love again at any age.<\/p>\n

Phyllis promises that they will each maintain their own apartment, despite the fact that the pair recognizes the importance of personal space. What good does it do to rush?<\/p>\n
