It can be heartwarming to witness the kindness of people despite everything that is wrong in the world.<\/p>\n

Consider eight-year-old Cayden Taipalus, whose kindness and generosity made sure that his classmates could have hot meals at school.<\/p>\n

When Cayden, a student at Challenger Elementary in Howell, Michigan, noticed that his friend was being refused a delectable warm supper at school one day, he took a brave action.<\/p>\n

Cayden felt driven to change things after witnessing his classmate being served a cheese sandwich rather than a cooked dinner since there weren’t enough money in his lunch account.<\/p>\n

He was distressed by the circumstances and went to his mother, Amber Melke-Peters, for advice. She spoke with him ways to make sure that things like this didn’t happen again in the future. <\/p>\n

They therefore made the decision to launch the fundraising website \u2018Pay It Forward: No Kid Goes Hungry.\u2019<\/p>\n

In an attempt to resolve the matter, Cayden sought assistance from friends, family, and neighbors, requesting financial contributions <\/p>\n

to cover his friend’s lunch obligations. However, as per an ABC News article detailing Cayden’s incredible tale, this went beyond financial contributions.<\/p>\n

As a matter of fact, Cayden urged the lunch staff at his school to use the money he raised from recycling to support the accounts of children who were experiencing severe financial difficulties.<\/p>\n

Cayden’s campaign has raised almost $41,000 since its inception, which translates to hundreds upon hundreds of students getting lunch thanks to his efforts! <\/p>\n

His constant goal is to make sure that no youngster ever has to endure the misery of missing out on a hot lunch after a demanding school day.<\/p>\n

\u2018I am so very proud of my son,\u2019 Cayden’s mother told ABC News, her pleasure almost overwhelming her.<\/p>\n

His understanding of this notion at the age of eight is quite remarkable, in my opinion. His heart is made of gold.<\/p>\n

What started out as a stirring sensation in Cayden’s stomach developed into an idea that could ensure that many kids have hot lunches during the school day.<\/p>\n

Many individuals expressed their happiness to see Cayden’s small act of kindness in the fundraiser’s comments area. <\/p>\n

One person wrote: \u2018We contributed to this and think it is a wonderful project you chose to do.\u2019 <\/p>\n

I’m hoping that your idea has received a nomination for the Make a Difference initiative. You really have made a difference, Cayden.<\/p>\n

\u2018You have done a wonderful job of helping a lot of kids,\u2019 they continued. You wouldn’t imagine that children would go hungry in a land of plenty,<\/p>\n

but in actuality, for a lot of youngsters, the food they consume at school can be their only meal of the day. <\/p>\n

It breaks my heart. As they say, it takes a village to raise a child, and by doing this, we can contribute to the upbringing of a few children while preserving their dignity.<\/p>\n
