The renowned 1998 hit song \u2018Believe\u2019 by Cher was sung by American Idol graduate and current Queen vocalist Adam Lambert at the 41st Annual Kennedy Center Honors in 2019, <\/p>\n

bringing the legendary pop diva to tears. The Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington, D.C., USA, served as the broadcast location for the yearly awards event on December 26, 2018. <\/p>\n

The event recognizes people for their lifetime accomplishments in the arts. Cher was one of the honorees, and Adam Lambert was paying tribute to her at the ceremony.<\/p>\n

The original \u2018Believe\u2019 was bright and energetic, while Lambert’s rendition was poignant and ballad-like. <\/p>\n

As Lambert sang, the camera turned to see a clearly affected Cher blotting away tears. Cher expressed <\/p>\n

add that it was an honor to sing a song by one of the greatest vocalists of all time. When Lambert graduated <\/p>\n

from high school, he was a lover of Cher’s music, and his favorite album of the 1998 release was \u2018Believe.\u2019<\/p>\n

There have been previous occasions when Lambert has dazzled audiences with an homage to a music icon before his performance at the Kennedy Center Honors. <\/p>\n

In 2016, Lambert’s amazing voice was honoring George Michael on the television program \u2018Greatest Hits.\u2019<\/p>\n

This time, he gave an amazing rendition of the 1987 popular song \u2018Faith.\u2019 Both of Lambert’s performances <\/p>\n
