Everett was born in South Bend, Indiana, on June 11, 1937. His acting career was shaped by his intense passion for the trade, which he pursued from an early age.<\/p>\n

In the end, the couple was married in 1966 and gave birth to Shannon and Katherine. Grant and Everett were \u2018soulmates for many lifetimes,\u2019according to Everett. <\/p>\n
Everett and Grant reportedly repeated their marital vows every seven years, with their daughters officiating the event twice.<\/p>\n

\u2018Medical Center\u2019 was in operation until 1976. The program, also known as \u2018Calling Dr. Gannon,\u2019 was one of the most popular on television at the time, but George Clooney’s \u2018ER\u2019 eventually overthrew it. <\/p>\n
Everett was already a showrunner on the popular television program when the show concluded, therefore he was entitled to 15% of the show’s earnings. <\/p>\n
But Everett’s existence wasn’t without its challenges. He also struggled with drinking and other problems. <\/p>\n
When his wife confronted him about his addiction in 1986, he said in an interview with People Magazine, \u2018Maybe I was a little too comfortable.\u2019 <\/p>\n
\u2018I finally admitted that I was in serious trouble. \u2018Father, you take it,\u2019 I murmured as I stepped outside and looked up. I can no longer bear it.<\/p>\n
After a while, Everett faced reality and understood he needed to start over. <\/p>\n
\u2018I will not abstain from alcohol since I am addicted to it. Everett recounted telling his girls, <\/p>\n
\u2018I’m going to do it here so you can see what happens to someone if you let a substance take control of you.\u2019<\/p>\n
Everett battled his addiction and sought solace from it at Alcoholics Anonymous. He also had a court dispute <\/p>\n

with Sheila Scott at one point in his life, who maintained that she was the biological father of his child. <\/p>\n
According to reports, Scott was told not to speak out about Everett in public. Grant supported him through the contentious time in their life till the very end. <\/p>\n
Regretfully, Grant passed away in 2011 from a brain aneurysm, while Everett passed away from lung cancer in 2012. <\/p>\n
