Gonzalez has given hundreds of performances on Tchaikovsky&#8217;s Swan Lake. <\/p>\n<p>She was a prima ballerina in the 1960s. She unfortunately lost those memories to Alzheimer&#8217;s, and in 2019 she passed away.<\/p>\n<p>The moment the ballerina recalls her long-forgotten dance routines as she hears a familiar music again is captured on viral camera footage that was shot just before her death.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/IMG_8433-1-300x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-70804\" srcset=\"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/IMG_8433-1-300x150.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/IMG_8433-1-768x384.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/IMG_8433-1-1024x512.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/IMG_8433-1.jpeg 1077w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Marta was filmed by M\u00fasica para Despertar (Music to Wake Up To), a music therapy organization, prior to her passing. <\/p>\n<p>The group only recently revealed the video. It depicts Marta C. Gonzalez wearing headphones while she listens to Tchaikovsky&#8217;s Swan Lake. <\/p>\n<p>Suddenly, her hands start to move elegantly and gently in an expressive way.It&#8217;s amazing to watch the former prima ballerina having fun again; she instantly recognizes the tune. <\/p>\n<p>The retired ballerina used her upper body to dance to the routines she had performed years before, even though she was confined to a wheelchair and unable to stand.<\/p>\n<p>It seems sense that as soon as Marta finished her routine, everyone in the room applauded, and she reportedly admitted to her caregiver that she was emotional.<\/p>\n<p>Since M\u00fasica para Despertar posted this touching film online, it has been shared widely.
