<\/p>\nWitnessing people go above and beyond to assist animals in need is always encouraging. Two teenagers <\/p>\n
from California intervened to save the lives of a litter of abandoned puppies after they came across them.<\/p>\n
The Santa Clara Fire Department in California received a tap on their station door on January 7. A plastic bucket filled with newborn puppies was held by two young boys.<\/p>\n
According to a department Facebook post, the puppies had been left on the side of the road and covered with a plastic lid. <\/p>\n
According to reports, the temperature had \u2018dropped significantly,\u2019 endangering the lives of the dogs.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Fortunately, though, the two teenagers happened to come across the puppies and intervened to save their lives.<\/p>\n
The boys traveled to many veterinary clinics, but they were all closed, so they went to the fire department. <\/p>\n
After the fire team called Silicon Valley Animal Control, they showed up and took care of the puppies.<\/p>\n
The Santa Clara Fire Department congratulated them for acting morally and tweeted the tale along with a picture of the lads grinning with the now-safe puppies.<\/p>\n
\u2018We appreciate the assistance from these young people!\u2019 they posted on Facebook. \u2018We’re positive that the pups benefited from their decision to take action and seek assistance!\u2019<\/p>\n
The teens’ performance was also well-received by several commenters. One user remarked, “Acts of kindness <\/p>\n
I see two possible future first responders on the horizon!\u2019 \u2018May God bless all first responders, including them and the dogs.\u2019<\/p>\n
Another person wrote, \u2018These boys are angels.\u2019<\/p>\n
