who was raised in a working-class family and was born in Canada, first developed an interest in acting in junior high school. <\/p>\n
When he was seventeen years old, he moved to Los Angeles because of his love, even though he was struggling financially. <\/p>\n
\u2018I was 18 years old, with no money, no connections, and I was literally dumpster diving for food,\u2019 Fox recalls those difficult times.<\/p>\n

Notwithstanding the difficulties it had, Fox was successful in the entertainment industry. His role in the comedy series \u2018Family Ties\u2019 helped him gain notoriety, <\/p>\n
and his iconic portrayal of Marty McFly in the movie \u2018Back to the Future\u2019 solidified his place in the Hollywood system. <\/p>\n
Thinking back on his career, Fox remembered a conversation he had with his mother on taking the job. <\/p>\n
\u2018My mother still believes that doing Back to the Future was a terrible idea for me, at least until two weeks ago,\u2019 Fox stated. She seemed to enjoy the movie, but I could feel my energy level rising.<\/p>\n
