<\/p>\nA person can profit from having a solid understanding of money and budgeting and saving techniques for the rest of their life. <\/p>\n
Unfortunately, a lot of people lack certain abilities or knowledge, which can make life more difficult in a variety of ways. <\/p>\n
Shelby Lattimore, a third-grade teacher in Charlotte, North Carolina, saw that a lot of people <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
lack financial literacy and made it her mission to educate the next generation of financial literacy. <\/p>\n
Shelby remarked, \u2018I saw that there were holes in the sense that, like, they didn’t know what change was.\u2019 <\/p>\n
\u2018They had no idea what a receipt was. They were unaware that saving was necessary for rewards. You know, <\/p>\n
things go more expensive the following week or the week after that, so they’re budgeting. At that point, I began to add items.<\/p>\n
The children are seen offering Shelby “rent” in the form of toy money in the YouTube video. <\/p>\n
Shelby reports that she has had nothing but great feedback from parents on her courses on money and financial literacy. <\/p>\n

They are appreciative that at such an early age, their children are learning how to save and budget.<\/p>\n
What a resourceful educator who saw a gap in the curriculum and quickly filled it with an engaging and innovative manner to teach her kids. <\/p>\n
Lessons and skills are always retained by pupils when learning is enjoyable and engaging. <\/p>\n
