Anne Hathaway concurs that Andy Sachs’ ensemble was in desperate need of a revamp.<\/p>\n

During an interview for Vanity Fair’s \u2018Scene Selection\u2019 series, the 41-year-old Oscar winner discussed her most well-known movies, <\/p>\n

including The Devil Wears Prada, which also features Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt. She thoroughly enjoyed remembering the iconic outfits from the film as she was doing it.<\/p>\n

She joked about her attire and said, \u2018Just look at my wonderful costume,\u2019 as she watched the scene in which her character Andy, <\/p>\n

who was wearing a dowdy outfit, first met the glamorous Meryl Streep character Miranda Priestly, who was playing the editor-in-chief of \u2018Runway.\u2019<\/p>\n

She also remembered that while the \u2018bruised lilac\u2019 sweater was not the most “flattering,\u2019 the corduroy jacket \u2018felt like the right choice.\u2019 <\/p>\n

She admitted that the costumes eventually get more glitzy, but she still thought they were post-graduation frump lovely.<\/p>\n

Hathaway gasped as Meryl Streep came on screen, forcing her to pause the film so she could admire the actress’s makeup and attire.<\/p>\n

\u2018Oh my god, that wig was made by J. Roy Helland, who is an expert in his field,\u2019 she remarked, alluding to Streep’s transformation into the boss of the video game \u2018Runway.\u2019<\/p>\n

Hathaway continued by describing how, during filming, she looked up to her renowned co-star. \u2018I was on the set when Meryl first arrived, <\/p>\n

and I witnessed how she not only embraced our production designer’s work, but also transformed it <\/p>\n

into something that felt more in line with her vision for the role. I felt like a sponge in her presence, wanting to absorb everything she did.<\/p>\n

The Devil Wears Prada is turning eighteen this June, so Hathaway acknowledged that it had been almost twenty years since she had seen the film. <\/p>\n

Nevertheless, she told Vanity Fair that the dramatization, which was directed by Daniel Frankel and released in 2006, had a \u2018magnetic quality\u2019 that drew her in right away. <\/p>\n

She was unaware that it would have \u2018such a legacy\u2019 in popular culture, but yet, this was the case.<\/p>\n

Hathaway, Streep, and Blunt reunited on the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards stage a short while ago to present the best male performer in a comedy series award.<\/p>\n

The three were dressed suitably for the part and transitioned into their roles with ease, as if no time had passed. <\/p>\n

In a crimson Louis Vuitton gown that her character Emily Charlton would have been proud of, Blunt looked gorgeous. <\/p>\n

Hathaway, on the other hand, paid homage to the iconic scene where Miranda chastises Andy for lacking refinement in her sense of style by dressing in a Versace design in a cerulean blue hue. <\/p>\n

Wearing a translucent maroon Prada dress with a train and sparkling ornaments seemed just fitting for Streep.<\/p>\n
