<\/p>\nFor many years, women’s fashion choices have been seen with bias by society. It is still difficult for many <\/p>\n
individuals to resist from making offensive remarks on social media posts that feature women who are just being themselves, even in 2023. <\/p>\n
On the other hand, there is an online sisterhood that comes together to defend one another from these trollers’ attacks. <\/p>\n
Candace Leslie Cima, a businesswoman and former model in her mid-seventies who goes by Styleinyour70s on Facebook, recently posted a video of herself putting on a brown, <\/p>\n
sleeveless, knit dress that, to be honest, looked amazing on her. Regretfully, nasty comments on her video started to appear shortly after.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, though, a large number of online users banded together to protect Cima from the upsetting remarks the post was receiving. Since then, <\/p>\n
the film has gained widespread attention due to the persistence of antiquated, stereotyped beliefs about women and what kind of clothing are appropriate for them at different ages. <\/p>\n
It now has over 10,000 likes and 541k views. At first, the comments section was dominated by derogatory remarks that tried to body shame Cima.<\/p>\n
But soon after, the comments on the post about accepting oneself for who one is, regardless of age, and body acceptance quickly turned the tables.<\/p>\n

Maggie (@LibertyAnders) commented, \u2018The grandma-on-grandma violence on Facebook is real,\u2019 after sharing Cima’s Facebook post on X (formerly Twitter). <\/p>\n
Despite her advanced age, this woman still looks amazing, yet older women are criticizing her appearance and choice of clothing in every comment. <\/p>\n
Someone else mentioned how women despise other women for being able to attract \u2018the male attention.\u2019<\/p>\n
Women detest it when other women get male attention, according to @DuhwayneBangz. Contrary to popular assumption, women make fun of women more than men do. <\/p>\n
She needs to cover up and dress more modestly since they find her attractive in order to make them feel at ease with the way they carry themselves and look. <\/p>\n
Facebook user Brittney Moore wrote, \u2018It saddens me so much to see that so many women never grow out of being so nasty and bitter to other women.\u2019 \u2018You look AMAZING and don\u2019t let these jealous people let you think otherwise!\u2019<\/p>\n
