<\/p>\nAfter his split from Katie Holmes, it seems that Tom Cruise has had a few interactions with his daughter, Suri. <\/p>\n
At the moment, Suri lives in New York City with her actress mother, who has exclusive custody over her. <\/p>\n
We made the decision to learn more about Suri’s connection with her father because their last known public appearance together was in 2012, during a trip to Disneyland, over ten years ago.<\/p>\n

Tom Cruise is a father of three children. Along with his ex-wife Nicole Kidman, he is the father of Connor Cruise, his only son, and Isabella \u2018Bella\u2019Cruise, his oldest daughter. <\/p>\n
Once married, they adopted Bella and Connor. The actor is father to one biological kid, Suri, who he shares with Katie Holmes, his second ex-wife.<\/p>\n
Holmes underwent numerous measures to dissolve her union with Cruise, including meeting in private with her attorneys and using covert phones. <\/p>\n
She shocked him by announcing her divorce. Afterwards, he acknowledged that Holmes departed \u00abto shield Suri\u00bb from certain notions.<\/p>\n
Suri, 17, is reportedly beginning to apply to colleges, but Cruise won’t be able to decide where she attends.<\/p>\n

An unnamed insider revealed in March 2023 that Cruise was not very involved in Suri’s life. The insider added that although the actor could still stay <\/p>\n
in touch with her if he so wanted, his beliefs might be a contributing reason to their distant relationship.<\/p>\n

In just 11 days, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes finalized their divorce settlement. Suri Cruise, the couple’s daughter, was not granted custody of her throughout the discussions, <\/p>\n
as was anticipated. Rather, he was merely allowed to visitation rights. Every month, Cruise has the option of spending up to ten days in Suri.<\/p>\n

The insider clarified that Tom still loves his daughter unconditionally in spite of the challenges they have encountered. <\/p>\n
They also mentioned that when Tom and Katie started a family, he had no idea that their relationship would become strained. In the future, he wants to rebuild their relationship.<\/p>\n
Still, the primary cause of Suri’s estrangement from her father is the unmaintained relationship between Katie and Cruise.<\/p>\n

Suri had applied to several universities by 2023. Katie wished very much that she would stay in New York so they could continue to be close. Katie loves her daughter dearly, but she tends to be overly cautious.<\/p>\n
The insider added that even though Tom had no say in Suri’s choice of college, he will pay her tuition as stipulated in their private divorce settlement with Holmes.<\/p>\n
As we’ve seen here, divorce may have a profound effect on individuals who are close to the divorcing parties, and this is also true for celebrities.<\/p>\n
Another example of that is Angelina Jolie, who recently went through one of the most well-known divorces in Hollywood history. <\/p>\n
