During those years, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, and The Eagles were all at the top of their game. <\/p>\n

That is but a small selection of the bands creating songs that will stick in your head. During that period, other bands like Fleetwood Mac, The Beach Boys, and Led Zeppelin were also making their mark.<\/p>\n
Another band that was popular in the 1960s and 1970s with an extensive catalog of hits is Creedence Clearwater Revival. <\/p>\n
The characteristic CCR sound is created by their tunes, which combine elements of rock and country music, beautiful and very catchy lyrics, and John Fogerty’s distinctive voice. <\/p>\n
