At a concert honoring the late Patsy Cline, Kellie Pickler made a moving comeback to the stage on Monday.<\/p>\n

Pickler, 37, performed with a number of other musicians at Walkin’ After Midnight: The Music of Patsy Cline at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Although most of the featured artists delivered renditions of Cline’s tune, Pickler went with a song she co-wrote with her late spouse.<\/p>\n

\u2018I would be lying if I didn’t admit that I am extremely nervous right now,\u2019 Pickler remarked as she entered the platform. It’s been a while since I’ve been up on stage.<\/p>\n

\u2018Let me start by saying that I feel deeply honored to be a part of Ms. Patsy Cline’s tribute. She played a major role in my love affair with music.<\/p>\n

She continued by introducing a song that she co-wrote \u2018over a decade ago\u2019 with her late husband, Kyle Jacobs.<\/p>\n

\u2018I was here at the Ryman Auditorium on a date night with him the final time. And I’m sure he’s here with us this evening,\u2019 she declared to the crowd.<\/p>\n

The suicide of Jacobs occurred in February 2023. 49 was his age.Pickler thanked everyone for their support in a message released six months after his passing.<\/p>\n

\u2018In a time of crisis, if you don’t know what to do, just be still. That was one of the most beautiful <\/p>\n

lessons my husband ever taught me,\u2019 the former American Idol contestant remarked. \u2018I’ve decided to follow his advice.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018I am grateful for the numerous letters, calls, and messages I have received from my family, friends, and supporters. <\/p>\n

It is getting me through the worst period of my life and has really touched my spirit. I pray for all of you, as many of you have informed me.<\/p>\n
