Among the movies that were released in the 1980s were \u2018The Breakfast Club,\u2019 <\/p>\n<p>\u2018Dead Poets Society,\u2019 \u2018Ghostbusters,\u2019 \u2018Dirty Dancing,\u2019 and \u2018Ferris Bueller&#8217;s Day Off.\u2019 A number of that decade&#8217;s films are still in high demand and are available on a few streaming services. <\/p>\n<p>Many of those movies, which were first released over 40 years ago, are currently gaining new admirers and being seen by younger audiences. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_4549-300x125.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"125\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-77070\" srcset=\"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_4549-300x125.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_4549-1024x428.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_4549-768x321.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_4549.jpeg 1255w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Kevin Bacon film \u2018Footloose\u2019 is one of those that appears to have seen a rebirth in popularity. <\/p>\n<p>The story of the 1984 movie centers on a young man who recently moved to a tiny village where rock and roll music and dancing are forbidden. <\/p>\n<p>Kevin Bacon&#8217;s character defies convention by doing things his way, shocking everyone in the little community. <\/p>\n<p>But the high school in Payson, Utah, that was the subject of the movie is going to close, and the pupils will be relocating to a new facility for the upcoming academic year. <\/p>\n<p>However, students launched a campaign to get Kevin Bacon to attend their prom before the \u2018Footloose\u2019 school is permanently closed.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_4550-300x130.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"130\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-77071\" srcset=\"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_4550-300x130.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_4550-1024x443.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_4550-768x332.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IMG_4550.jpeg 1183w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kevin Bacon himself joined the students at Payson High School in a video that was uploaded to YouTube. At last, their long-awaited chance arrived, and they invited Kevin to their prom. <\/p>\n<p>Kevin graciously accepted their request and agreed without hesitation.
