As reported by the New York Post, Elisabeth Linde, a woman from Long Island, took matters into her own hands when she learned that her father could not attend her wedding. <\/p>\n
After originally planning to tie the married on June 4, 2023, Linde decided to postpone the ceremony <\/p>\n
and instead wed in her dad’s presence at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan on June 3, 2023.<\/p>\n

The touching moment Linde captured walking down the aisle in a hospital hallway earlier this April was posted on TikTok,<\/p>\n
where it has received over 67 million views to far. Stuart Linde, a Wall Street professional of 56 years, <\/p>\n
was counting down the days he would spend in the hospital after receiving a mesothelioma diagnosis just before his daughter’s wedding. <\/p>\n
The bride said, \u2018The saddest and happiest day of my life,\u2019 in the caption. The video features Linde in her gorgeous white dress, <\/p>\n
heading towards her dad’s hospital room as Christina Perri’s \u2018A Thousand Years\u2019 plays in the background.<\/p>\n
Hospital staff members were arranged in a line to watch this unique wedding ceremony on both sides. <\/p>\n

In order to explain why this wedding was so emotional for her, Linde posted a follow-up video. <\/p>\n
The bride arrived at the hospital room to see her father’s bed opposite her father’s suit-clad groom and son. <\/p>\n
As Linde leaned in to give her father a kiss before embarking on her new life, the moment proved to be incredibly moving. <\/p>\n
The bride got married in the hospital room close to her ailing father after getting her parents’ blessings. <\/p>\n
Linde was clutching her father’s hand during the ceremony, and this footage touched hundreds of people online. <\/p>\n
The touching wedding ceremony of Linde was seen by approximately 10.5 million people.For Linde, having her father present at her wedding held greater significance than calling off the marriage of her dreams. <\/p>\n
\u2018It seemed unreal,\u2019 she remarked. \u2018One of my greatest supporters was my dad. He was required to be present. <\/p>\n
It turns out that Linde and her husband Devin were greatly assisted in overcoming addiction by their parents, Stuart and Eileen. <\/p>\n
\u2018My dad assisted us in becoming and being clean. He inspired me to return to nursing school and work toward <\/p>\n
