<\/p>\nShe has no intention of retiring! In a society when it’s customary to switch jobs and pursue career progression, Lorraine Maurer stands out as an exceptional example of commitment and loyalty. <\/p>\n
Lorraine, a remarkable 94-year-old woman, is still committed to her job at the Evansville, Indiana, McDonald’s. <\/p>\n
Her remarkable 44-year dedication has remained constant. Lorraine first became involved with McDonald’s <\/p>\n
in 1973 when her husband was forced to resign from his position owing to a handicap. Rather than give in to laziness, she set out on a deliberate search for work opportunities.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Lorraine never let money be her motivator. Her conviction originated from the notion that she and her spouse were both too young to be sitting around the house doing nothing. <\/p>\n
Driven by tenacity and an optimistic outlook, Lorraine was able to land a job at a local McDonald’s and never looked back. <\/p>\n
In Evansville, a number of McDonald’s restaurants have opened and closed over the years. But despite all of these adjustments, Lorraine has stayed a constant, moving between eateries with ease.<\/p>\n
Retirement or job promotion aspirations have never inspired her to work so hard. After all these years, <\/p>\n
Lorraine’s true passion for her work and\u2014more importantly\u2014her close relationships with her clients are what keep her motivated.<\/p>\n

Lorraine considers her clients to be members of her own extended family. Despite having four children of her own, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Lorraine does not consider her clients to be just random people. <\/p>\n
They have grown to be her friends and allies, traveling with her on several adventures and outings, sharing their lives, and creating priceless memories in the process.<\/p>\n
Despite working just two days a week, Lorraine has an enormous impact on the nearby McDonald’s. Her pleasant and friendly nature is highly valued by her customers, <\/p>\n
who sometimes volunteer to drive her home after work. On her working days, some even make special trips to the restaurant just to have meaningful chats with her. <\/p>\n
Serving many generations of families, Lorraine easily becomes part of their lives by identifying their children and grandchildren. <\/p>\n
She is loved and respected in the community for her unshakable commitment and sincere concern for every person.<\/p>\n
