<\/p>\nLi Pera, a geographer and builder by vocation, was tired of the high cost of Washington. This led her to the decision to create her own cozy house, measuring only 13.5 m\u00b2, far from the bustle of the city.<\/p>\n

Even though she had no experience with tools since childhood, Lee picked up the craft again as she completed most of the work herself.<\/p>\n

In addition to the structure of the house, Lee also created many of the furniture pieces, as standard options did not fit. Everything from cabinets to kitchen furniture was created by her skillful hands.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
The interior is decorated in a unique style. Lee initially took inspiration from the Scandinavian aesthetic, but then decided to add a personal touch, making the space vibrant and unique. <\/p>\n
Botanical wallpaper, bright colors and textures add personality to the home, while a cozy loft bedroom provides privacy.<\/p>\n

\u2018I especially like my bedroom. It is cozy, but not oppressive, thanks to several windows. Waking up and seeing tree branches, <\/p>\n
then looking down at the living room, realizing that it was all created by my hands is a special feeling,\u2019 says Lee.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
Despite its modest size, Lee’s house has everything you need for comfort: a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a workspace and even a bathroom. <\/p>\n
However, as she admits, to keep the house from looking cluttered, things need to be constantly tidied up.<\/p>\n

Lee became one of the pioneers in the mini-home movement. She now travels speaking about her experiences and encouraging people to live green and thrifty lives.<\/p>\n
