People was able to secure an autopsy report that stated the Christian singer passed away naturally.<\/p>\n
The singer, 47, \u2018was last known alive approximately three weeks\u2019 earlier, according to the article, and was discovered dead in her home by acquaintances on April 18. <\/p>\n
The Grammy winner’s class III obesity issues were the cause of her death. As to the Cleveland Clinic, <\/p>\n
class III obesity is defined as an individual who \u2018has a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or higher or a BMI of 35 or higher and is experiencing obesity-related health conditions.\u2019<\/p>\n

Mandisa, a college music major, participated in American Idol’s fifth season and placed among the top nine contestants. <\/p>\n
In 2007, she followed her time on Idol with the release of her debut album, True Beauty. Her record garnered her a Grammy nomination <\/p>\n
and landed at the top of the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. Throughout her career, she would go on to record five more albums.<\/p>\n
