Humanity has not yet discovered a cure for cancer, despite advances in medical research and care. <\/p>\n

Individuals with cancer frequently rely largely on hope and alternative therapies that might not always be successful. <\/p>\n

In the final phases, their chances of surviving are frequently slim. A person’s perspective on life is frequently completely altered by a cancer diagnosis. <\/p>\n

At the end of her Monday morning program, CNN’s Sara Sidner disclosed that she had been battling stage 3 breast cancer for the past few weeks. <\/p>\n

A video footage of her speech, in which she discussed her illness, has been circulated on CNN’s YouTube page.<\/p>\n

Sidner tells the audience right away that she has a “personal note” to give. She then asks the audience to list the names of eight women they have personally cared for. <\/p>\n

According to statistics, one of them will have breast cancer, she confesses. In my friend group, I am the odd one out of eight.” <\/p>\n

The anchor revealed that she had avoided serious illnesses for the majority of her life and maintained a healthy lifestyle, drinking in moderation and quitting smoking entirely. <\/p>\n

The woman also disclosed that, despite not having any family history of the disease, she had received a breast cancer diagnosis. <\/p>\n

She disclosed that she was scheduled for a double mastectomy and was receiving chemotherapy for a duration of two months. <\/p>\n

Having stage 3 breast cancer is no longer a “death sentence,” the anchor declared with confidence. <\/p>\n

Sidner went on to say: “If you happen to be a Black woman, you are 41% more likely to die from breast cancer than your white counterparts.”<\/p>\n

She continues, “So, to all my sisters, black and white and brown out there, please, for the love of god, get your mammograms every single year.” <\/p>\n

She shared the same advise on X, which was once Twitter. According to Sidner, receiving regular checkups will enable patients to cure their condition before it gets worse. <\/p>\n

With great force, the woman claimed that she “thanked cancer” for picking her. “No matter what hell we go through in life, that I am still madly in love with this life, and just being alive feels really different for me now,” <\/p>\n

Sidner said in closing. I am content because I no longer worry about silly little things that used to irritate me. And now I can rejoice in the fact that I am still here with you every day that I take a breath.<\/p>\n
