<\/p>\nNothing is more uninitiated than a pair of hooves, and rough seas are no place for the ignorant. <\/p>\n
The tale of a Good Samaritan saving a deer that was fighting the sea off the coast of Belmar originates from New Jersey. <\/p>\n
Adrienne Tully, who had recently bought up a beautiful camera again, was on the scene and taking shots. <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Tully, an amateur photographer, had gone to capture the sunset when he noticed the deer trying to cross onto a pier. <\/p>\n
She initially told News 12 that she believed it to be a bird and decided to move on, but later she noticed a group of bystanders assembling near the shore at 15th Avenue and pointing to the same jetty where she had first seen the bird. <\/p>\n
It dawned on her then that it was a buck and not a bird. We were a little concerned when Tully stated, <\/p>\n
“He was swimming through the ocean and then he decided a couple of times to climb on the jetty and then he went back in the water.” <\/p>\n
The animal was enticed out of the jumbled, eddying water and toward the shore by a nice surfer who passed by, much to the acclaim of the assembled spectators after a few photos had been taken.<\/p>\n
“I don’t know the name of the lovely surfer, but he finally attempted to help the deer leave. Tully stated, “I’m sure the deer is fine. He came out and just ran north on the beach, you know, far away from any people.” <\/p>\n
Although other surfers acknowledged that the water was quite choppy and that they didn’t think the buck could have survived on its own, <\/p>\n
they all acknowledged that they didn’t know the surfer who saved it. 12 News The Good Samaritan’s identification is still being investigated by New Jersey.<\/p>\n
