Similar twins Last year, Briana and Brittany revealed their pregnancy on Instagram. The 35-year-old sisters are expecting quadruplets.
Quaternary twins are born from identical twin fathers and identical twin mothers and are born less than nine months apart.
Brittany and Josh have a one-year-old son named Jett, and Briana and Jeremy have a one-year-old son named Jax. Jett and Jax are cousins, but because they’re quaternary twins, they’re more like genetic brothers.
When their identical twin parents have the same DNA, it’s like that. ‘We were hoping for overlapping pregnancies in order for this to happen.’ Briana stated, ‘We thought that would be extremely nice.’ ‘In the history of the planet, only 300 quaternary marriages have been documented.’
In 2017, the two met at the Twins Days Festival. Meeting the men, Brittany and Briana said, seemed like they ‘just strolled out of our twin dreams.’
Six months later, a double proposal took place in Twin Lakes Park. During the 2018 Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio, the couple married in a joint ceremony.
Former ‘Extreme Sisters’ stars Brittany and Briana dated nontwins. They refer to them as ‘singletons.’ However, always desired to be with identical twins.
‘I believe that many people in the dating world, particularly singletons, are looking for their other half,’ Brittany explained.
‘Each of us had a second half — a literal second half. And we’ve all dated someone who were unhappy that it wasn’t them who was called the other half.
But the four of us are all aware of the twin situation.’ The two couples currently reside in Virginia. They live in the same house and run a wedding venue together.
When they got engaged, it was something they all wanted. When the twins found out, they realized they were meant to be together. Because of their online presence, the Salyers receive unfavorable feedback, but they simply disregard it.
Brittany explained, ‘We try to disregard psychopathic stalker comments and just focus on the positive.’ ‘Some people think we’re strange, while others think it’s incredible. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback and attention, which we appreciate.’
The twins are also looking at expanding their families. Briana claims that they will make a decision shortly.
The babies are very little and require a great deal of care and attention. However, it’s likely that a new addition will be known with the twins.
Jeremy says to feel like Jett’s father. It feels like one family, rather than two separate spouses with their own lives, because the two couples live together and raise their children as one.
It’s a unique situation, but they get along OK. It’s got to be the twin thing. The two babies will undoubtedly grow up in a loving environment.
