When he’s not shooting rockets into space, Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of SpaceX, Tesla, and other game-changing tech businesses, finds time to read a lot of books.

Musk attributes his achievement to publications ranging from classic science fiction to complicated research on artificial intelligence.

He famously replied, ‘I studied books,’ when asked how he learnt to make rockets. The majority of people do not have the time to read a book every day.

According to a research conducted by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average American only reads 17 minutes each day. At that rate, reading one of Musk’s recommended nonfiction books could take more than a month.
