The turtle in this video belongs to an endangered species of sea turtle.

He lives in an ecological center in Thailand.

Recently, people started to notice that he was swimming in a strange way, as if he was struggling.

Veterinarians operated on the animal, during which it was found that there are about 900 coins and other items in the turtle’s stomach.

For several years, he swallowed what tourists and townspeople threw into the water.

Many tourists throw coins into the water to return. And, unfortunately, that tradition shortened the poor turtle’s life several times.

Its average life expectancy could be 100 years, but due to the operation, the animal did not have that much left.
